About
Mix Powder Puff China Aster (Callistephus Chinensis) is a warm-season annual — native to China and northern Asia — that grows 18–24 inches tall and blooms from midsummer through the first frost. The powder puff flowers are fully doubled, globe-shaped, without an open center, just layer on layer of petals. This mix runs the full color range: deep violet, blush pink, white, crimson, bicolors. Grows as an annual across all USDA Zones, typically 2–11. China Aster seeds suit well as cut flowers, as they hold 10–14 days in a vase with stiff, straight stems that don't need wiring.
