About
Dwarf Lemon Sulphur Cosmos (Cosmos Sulphureus) is a compact drought tolerant annual that grows across USDA Zones 2–11. Plants reach 12–18 inches and push out semi-double flowers in lemon-yellow to golden-orange from midsummer right up to the first hard frost. The blooms attract bees, butterflies, and hoverflies. Gardeners buy Sulphur Cosmos flower seeds for borders, cutting gardens, containers, and wildflower patches. The plant self-seeds freely enough that you will likely see it come back the following season on its own.
