For best results, soak your Dwarf Nasturtium seeds in water for 8 hours before planting to soften the seed coat and encourage faster sprouting. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to keep your Nasturtium Mix flowering continuously throughout the season, and pinch back stems mid-season to encourage bushier, more compact growth. Tropaeolum Nanum plants are natural self-seeders — if you leave a few flowers at season's end, you may enjoy a free encore the following year with no extra effort. Use your Nasturtium plants strategically in the vegetable garden: the foliage acts as a trap crop, drawing aphids away from tomatoes, cucumbers, and other prized edibles.
