About
Chives (Allium Schoenoprasum) is a hardy perennial herb native to Asia and Europe. Chives produce neat upright clumps of hollow grass-like green shoots, which are 12 inches tall and 6-12 inches wide. In late spring to early summer, they produce round fuchsia flower heads that are edible, mildly onion-flavored, and attractive to bees and butterflies. Chives are hardy in USDA Zones 3-11.
At KVITER we offer Chives seeds for sale that are packed in sealed foil packets. Each order of 1,200 seeds gives you enough to fill a kitchen bed, line a container wall, or share half with a neighbour.
