About
Purple Beauty Sweet Pepper is an open pollinated blocky, thick-walled bell pepper. It ripens to deep violet and lime-green flesh. It's one of the few heirloom bell peppers where the purple stage is the intended harvest stage, not just an immature green. The flesh is crisp and genuinely sweet, which makes it taste better raw in salads, on boards, stuffed and baked, or just sliced. Plants stay compact at around 24 inches across USDA Zones 3–12. Peppers are ready to get harvested in 70–85 days from transplant.
