Peaches and Cream F1 Corn Seeds

Plant Peaches and Cream sweet corn seeds outdoors only, the plant doesn't like being transplanted. Start sowing when soil temperatures reach 65°F; lower temperatures won't just inhibit germination but cause the seeds rot. Sow seeds about1 inch deep in rows about 6 inches apart,  in rows spaced 30-36 inches. Plant in groups of at least four rows, not one row alone. This is because wind-pollinated corn requires grouping; otherwise, you'll have poorly filled ears.

Zea Mays plants require at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. The Peaches and Cream Sweet Corn seeds grow optimally in sandy, well-drained soil with a pH level of 6.0-6.8. If your soil is dense or clay-based, it's better to add compost. Corn plants have relatively shallow roots despite being towering crops, and can dry out much faster than you might think, so ensure regular watering, particularly when the plants are flowering.

Thin seedlings to 8-12 inches apart when they reach four inches tall. Overcrowding leads to poor ear formation even if your soil is excellent. Feed the plant every 30 days using a balanced or nitrogen-forward fertilizer to avoid lower leaves yellowing. This particular F1 hybrid comes with strong resistance to NLB, SLB, and SW, making pest control easy compared to the conventional open pollinated varieties. For harvest, count roughly 18–24 days after you see 50% of plants showing silk, then check — pierce a kernel with a fingernail. Milky juice means it's ready, clear juice means wait. No juice means you missed the window.
