About
Large Red Cherry Tomato (Solanum Lycopersicum) is an indeterminate heirloom vine that produces heavy yields of bright-red, 1 to 1.5-inch cherry tomatoes from midsummer into fall. Plants reach 36 to 96 inches tall and spread 18 to 36 inches wide, so they need a cage or trellis. This variety is open-pollinated and non-GMO, so you can save seeds from your best fruits and replant them the following season. Maturing in 65–75 days these sweet, juicy tomatoes grow in USDA Zones 2–11, which makes it one of the most adaptable tomato varieties. Flavor-wise, the fruits hold up well both fresh off the vine and in salads.
