About
Dark Green Italian Flat-Leaf Parsley(Petroselinum Crispum) is a biennial, culinary herb native to the central Mediterranean. Most gardeners grow it as an annual, digging it up after harvesting, though in USDA Hardiness Zones 5-9, it survives the winter and comes back for a second year. It grows 12-18 inches tall with upright stems with dark forest green leaves with a robust, clean flavor, a strong pepper taste with citrus in the background, much stronger than curly-leaf Parsley.
